DADEBAY Aibek Chairman of the Kurultai of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Born on April 1, 1980, in Almaty.

In 2001, he graduated from the Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages, and in 2003, he completed his master's degree in Regional Studies.

He has held various positions, including lecturer in the Department of International Tourism Management, expert in the Department of Inter-Parliamentary Relations and International Cooperation, attaché at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UN, and Head of the Secretariat of the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, among others.

From February 6, 2024, he served as the Head of the Administration of the President of Kazakhstan. He was relieved of this position by presidential decree on May 6, 2026.

On August 28, 2026, he was elected Chairman of the Kurultai (unicameral parliament) of Kazakhstan.

He holds the diplomatic rank of Counselor, Second Class, and has been awarded the Order of the President of Kazakhstan and the Medal of the President of Kazakhstan.
