Voting System
Deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia are elected for four years on the basis of a majority system according to party lists and general, equal and direct elections by free, personal and secret ballot. A person who has reached the age of 25, has been a citizen of the Republic of Armenia for the last five years, has been resident in the Republic for five years and has the right to vote, can be elected a deputy.​​

Born November 23, 1979 in Yerevan.
2000: graduated from the Department of Art of the History Faculty of YSU.
2002: finished the master’s program at the same faculty. Historian.
2004: graduated from the Public Administration Academy of the Republic of Armenia. Civil servant, expert in public administration and local government.
2005: finished postgraduate studies at the Armenian National Academy of Sciences (NAS RA). Candidate of Historical Sciences (PhD equivalent).
2003–2005: junior researcher, Museum-Institute of the Armenian Genocide of NAS RA. 2005–2007: chief archivist of the Department of Social and Political Documents of the National Archive of Armenia.
2007–2010: specialist at HSBC Bank Armenia.
2011–2012: analyst at REGNUM international news agency.
2012–2013: coordinator of the voter education program at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).
October 2012–February 2013: lecturer at YSU.
2013–2015: head of the research group of the Aurora and 100 Lives Award initiative at the Initiatives for Development of Armenia (IDeA).
2014–2017: expert on political parties and strategic planning at the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD). Founding member of the Civil Contract party.
2016: member of the Party Board.
2017–2019: member of the National Assembly (constituency No 3, Way Out Alliance). Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sports. Member of the Way Out Alliance.
