PERMANENT COMMISSION OF THE CSTO PA ON SOCIAL- ECONOMIC AND LEGAL ISSUES PERFORMS: - development of recommendations on improving the regulatory framework in the military-economic field, in the areas of combating illegal migration and human trafficking, countering the legalization of criminal proceeds; - development of model laws and recommendations in the field of international humanitarian law, as well as social protection of military personnel, law enforcement officers, security agencies and special services, and their family members; - preparation of proposals for the harmonization of the legislation of the CSTO member states in the field of humanitarian assistance, regulation of migration processes. - testing of draft regulatory documents regulating the activities of the CSTO PA

STANDING COMMITTEE OF THE CSTO PA ON
DEFENSE AND SECURITY CARRIES OUT:
- development of model legislative acts, recommendations and other legal acts aimed at the convergence and harmonization of the national legislation of the CSTO member states in the field of defense and security, combating international terrorism and extremism, prevention and elimination of natural and man-made emergencies;
- parliamentary monitoring of the military-political situation in the CSTO collective security regions in order to determine ways to improve the measures of legal support for the functioning of the collective security system of the CSTO member states;
- elaboration of proposals for the development of military cooperation between the CSTO member states, including logistical and military-technical support of collective security forces and means.

PERMANENT COMMISSION OF THE CSTO PA ON POLITICAL
ISSUES AND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION
PERFORMS:
- promoting the convergence and harmonization of the national legislation of the CSTO member states in the field of international security;
- preparation and consideration of draft political statements and appeals of the CSTO PA; - coordinates the parliamentary monitoring of electoral processes in the Member States of the Organization;
- assistance in coordinating the actions of the delegations of the parliaments of the CSTO member states on international platforms;
- support and development of cooperation between the CSTO PA and other parliaments and international organizations.
