Rustami Emomali

Born on December 19, 1987 in the Republic of Tajikistan, Tajik by nationality, higher education.
In 2008 he graduated from the Tajik National University with a degree in World Economy, in 2011 — the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation with a degree in State and Municipal Administration, in 2014 — the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan with a degree in Law.
In 2006-2009 he worked as a chief specialist of the Department of Cooperation with the World Trade Organization of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
Since April 2009, he has worked as the Acting Head of the Entrepreneurship Support Department at the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management and in June 2009 was appointed Head of this Department.
In 2011-2012 he worked as the Head of the Department of the Organization of Combating Customs Offenses of the Customs Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan

Voting System


Elections are held by secret ballot by universal, equal and direct suffrage. 22 representatives are elected by proportional system, 41 in single-seat constituencies. The Assembly of Representatives operates on a permanent and professional basis. Any citizen who has reached the age of 25 may be elected as a deputy to the Assembly of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda

Zokirzoda Mahmadtoir Zoir was born on July 5, 1956 in Rasht district.
Graduated from Tselinograd Agricultural Institute in 1985.
He started his professional carreer as a geodetic engineer in Tajikgiprozem design institute, then worked as a lead engineer and head of supervision group of Process Engineering Department; chief engineer of Tajikgiprozem design institute; chief specialist of the Department of Agro-Industrial and Food Complex of Administrative Directorate of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan; chief specialist of Agricultural Department of Administrative Directorate of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan; chief specialist of Agro-Industrial Complex of Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan; General Manager of Tojikkoinot, National Space, Geodesy and Cartography Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan; Chairman of Emergency and Civil Defence Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan; Director of Land Management, Geodesy and Cartography Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
2010–2015: Chairman of Land Management and Geodesy State Committee of the Republic of Tajikistan.
2016–2020: deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Zokirzoda Mahmadtoir Zoir has been awarded with the Khizmati shoista medal and the 20th Anniversary of State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan anniversary medal.
