On July 3, Aleksandr Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, congratulated his compatriots on Independence Day.
The Belarusian leader pointed out that July 3, the day of liberation of Minsk from fascist oppression, marked the restoration of peaceful life and "for Belarusians it has forever become a symbol of fighting for freedom, an example of courage and a timeless standard to uphold for the future generations."
"I have no doubt that memory of the heroic past and commitment to a common cause, as well as love for our Motherland and pride for its achievements will help us make Belarus prosperous and thriving," The President of Belarus underlined.
He pointed out that the country is consistently moving towards success, walking the path of justice and growth.
