August 30, 2024, marks the 29th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main law of the country was adopted on August 30, 1995, at a national referendum.
On June 5, 2022, the Republican referendum was held in Kazakhstan, adopting amendments and additions to the Constitution, including the transition from a super-presidential form of government to a presidential Republic with a strong Parliament.
With the adoption of these amendments, the Republic stepped on a path of large-scale internal political transformations.
Today, on Constitution Day, Kazakhstan traditionally holds celebrations.
