The 28th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, which opened today, July 4, in Luxembourg, hosted a meeting of the heads of parliamentary delegations of the CSTO Member States.
Today in Luxembourg, in accordance with Decision No. 5 of May 20, 2019 of the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, the delegation of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz Republic, the parliament of the CSTO Chairing State, organized a coordination meeting of the heads of parliamentary delegations of CSTO Member States at the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
The meeting, as part of their participation in the summer 28th session of the OSCE PA, which was held under the theme “Advancing Sustainable Development to Promote Security: The Role of Parliaments,” addressed the topics of the final reports of the OSCE PA committees. The meeting considered the coordination of positions of the CSTO Member States’ parliaments on the draft decisions of the OSCE PA proposed by its members for submission to the 19th winter session of the OSCE PA.
Delegations from the parliaments of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan took part in the meeting.
