Abbas Moghtadaei: Strengthening Cooperation in the CSTO is a Prerequisite of Security and Stability in the World

Abbas Moghtadaei, Deputy Chairman of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, invited parliamentarians of the CSTO Member States to cooperate in order to strengthen security and create stability in the world.

“We believe that expanding cooperation within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, BRICS and other regional structures and global institutions is the right path that we should walk seriously and with greater speed for the sake of cooperation and progress,” he said.

Speaking about the events in Syria, Abbas Moghtadaei emphasized that only the Syrian people have the right to determine their fate and future without any interference or pressure from third countries.

Abbas Moghtadaei also conveyed greetings to the parliamentarians from Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Parliament of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran.
