In Kyrgyz Jogorku Kenesh, Chyngyz Aidarbekov will be in charge of international affairs, defence, security and migration
According to the website of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, Chyngyz Aidarbekov was elected Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs, Defence, Security and Migration of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic. At a plenary session on March 2, deputies elected the Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs, Defence, Security and Migration of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic. Deputy Chyngyz Aidarbekov was nominated for this position. According to the voting results, Deputy Chyngyz Aidarbekov was elected Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs, Defence, Security and Migration of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic by 76 votes in favour. A resolution of the Jogorku Kenesh to this effect has been adopted. As you may recall, on October 17, 2018, Chyngyz Aidarbekov was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. On December 29, 2021, he was elected as a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic of the VII convocation.
Chyngyz Aidarbekov is a career diplomat. He graduated from the International University of Kyrgyzstan in 1998 with a degree in International Relations, worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in various positions and from 2016 to 2018 he was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Japan.
