Armenian delegation in Minsk recalled the Armenians who fought for Belarus
During his visit to Belarus to monitor the CSTO military exercises Boyevoye bratstvo, Armen Khachatryan, deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on Defence and Security Affairs of the National Assembly of Armenia, donated a book titled Armenian Warriors in the Battles for Belarus to the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War in Minsk. The book is about the feats of courage of Armenian soldiers who fought on the territory of the Republic in 1941-1944.
The memorial publication contains, for the first time, personal data on Armenian soldiers who died, went missing and were buried in the territory of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War; on defenders of the Brest Fortress; participants of the partisan movement and underground struggle; as well as information on those awarded for their military feats and services.
The fundamental work is dedicated to all those who contributed to the Victory and strengthening the brotherly friendship of the Armenian and Belarusian peoples.
