The Second International Forum Development of Parliamentarism starts today in Moscow.
This year the Forum brings together representatives of 132 countries: over 800 parliamentarians and experts, including 41 speakers of national parliaments and representatives of 14 inter-parliamentary organizations.
The delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization is headed by Acting Executive Secretary Sergei Pospelov.
The Forum’s programme includes topical issues of international security and stability, problems of digital economy, youth and environmental policy.
Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma, will open the event. Federation Council Chairwoman Valentina Matvienko and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov are also scheduled to speak.
The First International Forum Development of Parliamentarism was held in Moscow on June 4–5, 2018 at the initiative of Vyacheslav Volodin.
