CSTO Secretary General and Belarusian Defense Minister discussed cooperation in the Organization

On November 2, 2022, Stanislav Zas, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, who was on a working visit to the Republic of Belarus, held a meeting with Viktor Khrenin, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Belarus.
According to the press service of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the parties discussed in detail the situation in the Organization’s area of responsibility and the prospects of development of the military component of its activities.
Particular attention was paid to the results of a series of joint exercises held in October.
Stanislav Zas informed Viktor Khrenin about the preparations for the regular session of the CSTO Collective Security Council and the meetings of its statutory bodies, as well as about the completion of a number of individual instructions of the Organization’s Collective Security Council.
