Mikhail Galuzin: The Parliamentary Component of the CSTO's Activities is Crucial

Mikhail Galuzin, Russian deputy Foreign Minister, congratulated CSTO parliamentarians on the Diplomatic Worker's Day.

"The CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and the parliamentary component of the CSTO's activities in general are crucial, because these institutions, these very structures create the legislative basis for the activities of our Organization. And that is why communication between parliamentarians of the CSTO countries, the leadership of the CSTO Secretariat, ambassadors of the CSTO countries, and, of course, the leadership of the Russian Foreign Ministry, is mutually enriching," Mikhail Galuzin noted.

He also added that such interaction allows to define priorities more clearly, including in the legislative work of the CSTO parliamentarians.

"As for representatives of the relevant ministries and agencies of the CSTO countries involved directly in this area of work, it is surely important to them to always know the parliamentarians' opinion on current activities of the CSTO," the deputy Minister concluded.

Mikhail Galuzin congratulated all those involved in the activities of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly on the Diplomatic Worker's Day and wished them further success.
