CSTO PA observers to participate in monitoring the Russian State Duma elections

At the meeting of the CSTO PA Council, Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, invited the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly observer group to take part in monitoring the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation on September 19, 2021.
“This year our monitoring groups visited Kazakhstan, twice Kyrgyzstan and at the end of June, Armenia. This work is becoming more and more important due to the increasing outside attempts to influence the processes of expression of will in our countries,” said Vyacheslav Volodin during the CSTO PA Council’s discussion of the final reports of the CSTO PA international observers.
“Elections to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation will be held on September 19, 2021. So I would like to take this opportunity to invite a monitoring group of observers from the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly to participate in the observation of these elections,” said Vyacheslav Volodin.
