The National Guard of Kyrgyzstan will take part in the Victory Parade in Moscow in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
“About 80 servicemen from the honor guard will take part in the Victory Parade in the capital of Russia,” the Kyrgyz National Guard announced.
The participating servicemen of the National Guard are already practicing for the parade, integrating it into their daily routine.
It's estimated that about 360 thousand Kyrgyz citizens fought in the Great Patriotic War. Almost every third of them died. Together with the people of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz patriots formed the legendary Twenty-Eight, the division of General Ivan Panfilov, which showed heroism and courage in the Battle for Moscow in 1941-1942.
As you may recall, the Kyrgyz Republic presides in the CSTO in 2025. The Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly will take place in May in Bishkek.
