International observers from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization have published a Conclusion on the results of the constitutional referendum held in Kazakhstan on March 15, 2026.
The document notes that the referendum was held in accordance with national legislation and international standards.
The international observation team, led by Ulukbek Uzakbayev, a representative of Kyrgyzstan, included parliamentarians from the CSTO member states who monitored the entire electoral process.
On March 15, 2026, international observers visited 11 polling stations in Astana and the Akmola region, and were present at various stages of the voting process. The polling stations opened at the designated time and were provided with the necessary documents, equipment, and information materials.
The group members did not identify any complaints regarding the quality of the lists of referendum participants, the procedure for issuing ballots, or the voting process.
