The first working meeting of Sergei POSPELOV, CSTO PA Secretary General, and Stanislav ZAS, CSTO Secretary General, was held in Moscow at the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
The parties discussed the Joint Work Plan of the organizations regarding legislative support of CSTO’s activities, the progress on the draft 2021–2025 CSTO PA Action Plan on Approximation and Harmonization of National Legislation of the CSTO Member States and priorities of the Russian Federation during its CSTO presidency.
The CSTO Secretary General was interested in the implementation of the model legislative acts adopted by the CSTO PA in the legal systems of the CSTO Member States, coordination of the actions of parliamentary delegations of the CSTO Member States on international venues and work on the Single List of Organizations Recognized as Terrorist in the CSTO Member States.
Special attention was paid to the event programme to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Sergei POSPELOV informed Stanislav ZAS about the upcoming CSTO PA Address dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
In response, Mr ZAS pointed out that the Victory celebration “has a colossal impact on people,” and we must defend the truth about the Victory and resist all falsification attempts.
