CSTO PA Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin congratulated IPA CIS Council Chairwoman Valentina Matviyenko on her birthday

Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, congratulated Valentina Matviyenko, Chairwoman of the Council of the IPA CIS and Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, on her birthday.
“I have known her for a long time, but even before I met her I heard a lot of good things about her from Yevgeny Primakov, and this formed my opinion about Ms Matviyenko,” Vyacheslav Volodin wrote in his Telegram channel. “When we started working together, this opinion was only confirmed.”
Mr Volodin says that Ms Matviyenko is an incredibly charming person. At the same time, she knows how to stand her ground.
“It is very important that our citizens are represented in the authorities by such people who combine professionalism, accountability and empathy, attention to problems,” said Vyacheslav Volodin as quoted by the press service of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
Vyacheslav Volodin wished Valentina Matviyenko “happiness, health and some free time to spend with her loved ones.”
