On March 20, Aleksandr Lukashenko, President of Belarus, and Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, discussed Eurasian integration, further development of the Union State and the presidency of the Republic of Belarus in the EAEU via phone call.
“The main focus of the talk was Eurasian integration and cooperation within the framework of the Belarusian presidency in the EAEU this year,” the press service of the President of Belarus reported.
The presidents also touched upon the schedule of the upcoming meetings and joint events, including the International Forum in Volgograd in honor of the 80th Anniversary of the Great Victory. The Forum will take place in April under the auspices of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia.
