Nikol Pashinyan: Russia is the number one security partner and strategic ally

TASS quoted the acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia as saying in Paris in front of the Armenian community of the French Republic: “Russia is the number one security partner and strategic ally. Just yesterday [May 31 – TASS] I spoke on the telephone with the President of the Russian Federation and I can state that we essentially share the same approach to the situation: Azerbaijani armed forces should step back from the border. Armenia’s position is clear: Azerbaijan should retreat. Armenia expects Russia to clearly articulate this position,” Mr Pashinyan said.
