Today is Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan
In his congratulatory address on Independence Day, Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan said that on December 16, 1991, Kazakhstanis realized a centuries-old dream of their ancestors.
“And I offer my deepest gratitude to each of you. We have walked a thorny path and our reward is life in a prosperous state where peace, stability and our unity are the priority,” Mr Nazarbayev said.
According to him, the creation of a united Kazakh nation is an important achievement of the years of independence.
“We are united by our responsibility for the fate of the country, creative energy and love for our native land! National unity lets us overcome any trials that befall us most effectively. As long as we cherish this main value of our Independence, the history of our victories will continue,” Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
In his congratulatory message to President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the occasion of the Republic’s Independence Day, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin praised the great success of the Republic of Kazakhstan in socio-economic, scientific and technical development, its deserved respect on the world stage and its important constructive role in solving current international issues. “I am pleased that the strategic partnership and alliance between our states develops very successfully,” the official website of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan quotes Vladimir Putin.
