On December 16, 1991, Kazakhstan adopted the Law On State Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and since then the country celebrates Independence Day on this day.
The colossal Independence Monument became the artistic embodiment of state’s independence. The Golden Man that symbolizes the greatness of the state stands 28 metres tall.
