Sergei Shoigu and Viktor Khrenin Hold Talks at the Army 2023 Forum

On August 14–20, the Russian Defence Ministry hosts the Army 2023 International Military and Technical Forum in Patriot Park near Moscow.

Today, on August 14, Army General Sergei Shoigu, Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, met with his Belarusian counterpart, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin, on the margins of the forum.

During the talks, the sides discussed the issues of military and technical cooperation between the Defence Ministries of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.

The Russian Defence Ministry noted the exposition by the Republic of Belarus at the Forum.

In his opening address to the participants of the Army 2023 Forum, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow offers its partners a wide range of advanced weaponry of almost all kinds and types. According to him, this includes  the latest control and intelligence systems, precision weapons and robotics.
