On June 27, Tajikistan celebrates National Unity Day. 28 years ago, General Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and National Accord was signed.
Tajikistan's National Museum holds valuable exhibits – Pen of Peace and Jug of Unity, symbols of independence and stability in the country.
At the President's initiative, Peace and Unity Procession was organized on the Road of Unity. 240 people took part in the procession, walking hundreds of kilometers from Murghob to Isfara. Along the way, they collected soil in each district and finally made a painted jug in Isfara, the town of artisans. The jug was given to Emomali Rahmon, President of Tajikistan.
"Each of us has to make even more efforts to strengthen national unity, the truly valuable achievement of our people. For the development of our state, prosperity and welfare of our motherland," Emomali Rahmon pointed out, congratulating compatriots on this special day.
