Viktor Rogalev: The Elections are Fully Compliant with the Legislation of Tajikistan
Viktor Rogalev, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the CSTO PA, noted that parliamentary elections in Tajikistan are held in strict compliance with the legislation of the state and international standards.
"Elections to the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan are fully compliant with the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan. Moreover, we observe very high activity, and I believe that when the results are summarized, the turnout will be quite high as well. I see that this is a holiday for people, because, indeed, the election of people's representatives is always a very responsible process. Moreover, the state has gone through difficult years, and thanks to the efforts, wisdom and resilience of President Emomali Rahmon, Tajikistan is moving in a good, correct and precise direction towards prosperity and dynamic development both in the economical and political life. I hope that after these elections, the state will continue its course to the unification of the people, economic reforms and further prosperity," said Viktor Rogalev.
According to the Central Commission on Elections and Referendums of Tajikistan, voter turnout has already exceeded 59%. CSTO PA observers continue to work at polling stations in Dushanbe.
