Kant base troops conducted a humanitarian intervention in the Kyrgyz Republic
Troops of the Kant joint Russian military base in the Kyrgyz Republic conducted a humanitarian intervention to assist a residential social-care psychoneurological institution. According to the website of the Russian Ministry of Defence, as part of the intervention the servicemen delivered food rations to the institution, which included cereals, eggs, oils and many other products. The servicemen also brought detergents, disinfectants, household chemicals and essential supplies.
The CSTO base troops regularly provide humanitarian aid to those in need, providing them with food, clothing and essential supplies.
The Russian Kant joint military base in Kyrgyzstan is part of the Collective Rapid Deployment Force involved in ensuring the security of airspace of the CSTO Member States.
