Vyacheslav Volodin: The parliamentary dimension develops thanks to the heads of state supporting this format

“Speaking of the development of the parliamentary dimension, it should be emphasized that our heads of state’s attention to this format is significant,” said Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, during the field session of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Council in Dushanbe (Republic of Tajikistan).
“Because through their own steps and support they do everything to develop this format, and we, within the framework of inter-parliamentary cooperation, did everything to provide legislative support of the heads of state’s decisions and made decisions allowing us, among other things, to shape the legislation of each of our states by making appropriate amendments to the national legislation and harmonizing it.”
