Vyacheslav Volodin Congratulated Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu on His Election as Chairman of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic

Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, held a phone call with Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Vyacheslav Volodin congratulated his colleague on his landslide victory in the elections and his reappointment as Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Republic, emphasizing that constructive dialogue between Russian and Kyrgyz parliamentarians is "an important factor in strengthening mutual understanding between our states."

During the talk, the parties discussed issues pertaining to the further development of interparliamentary dialogue between the two countries and the results of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly meeting held in Moscow.

Vyacheslav Volodin wished his colleague further success and invited him to pay an official visit to Russia.
