Vyacheslav Volodin congratulated his CSTO PA colleagues on Victory Day

Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and Speaker of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, congratulated his CSTO Parliamentary Assembly colleagues on Victory Day.
“The world was on the brink of destruction. And it was our Soviet soldier who saved the world from Nazism. Victory was hard won. The war passed through every family. Citizens of our country, the Soviet Union, did everything to save the world,” the CSTO PA Chairman noted.
On the eve of Victory Day, May 8, he laid flowers at the Rzhev Memorial to the Soviet Soldier.
Mr Volodin noted that the most important thing is for the descendants of the fallen to remember the price of the Victory. “Nothing can replace our memory. This is the most precious thing there is,” he stressed.
