On June 9, 2019, members of the group of international observers from the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly representing the supreme legislative bodies of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan continue their short-term monitoring of the snap presidential election in Nur-Sultan and Almaty.
International observers from the CSTO PA, according to individual routes, visit polling stations in the cities of Nur-Sultan and Almaty from the moment of their opening.
On June 8, on the eve of the election, group members met with representatives of the public campaign offices of presidential candidates, the CEC management and corresponding territorial electoral commissions.
The election is monitored on the basis of an invitation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
