Security Council of the Republic of Belarus is currently revising the National Security Concept of the Republic of Belarus, reported Aleksandr Volfovich, State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus.
According to him, as quoted by SB. Belarus' segodnya, the concept the country’s national security is being reworked, and in the near future it will be reported to the President of the Republic of Belarus and submitted to the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly.
“A comprehensive work is currently in progress to revise the national security concept. In the near future it will be reported to the President and then presented to the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly.
According to the State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus, the work on the reforming of the national security concept is carried out in line with the amendments and additions adopted in February’s referendum.
“The military doctrine currently provides solutions to the tasks of national security and defence of the country. Under the new constitution we are now working to reform the national security concept in line with the emergence of new risks, challenges and threats,” Aleksandr Volfovich said.
