Alena Arshinova: CSTO PA Discussed Countering Destructive Informational Influence
Today, at a meeting of the Permanent Commission on Socio-Economic and Legal Affairs of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, a large-scale Action Plan on the Approximation and Harmonization of National Legislation of CSTO Member States and the event program for the 20th anniversary of the foundation of the CSTO PA were discussed in St. Petersburg.
Alena Arshinova, deputy of the State Duma, Chairwoman of the ANO Eurasia Council, pointed out that special attention at the meeting was paid to creating conditions for bringing up the younger generation in the traditions of cultural and historical values and historical memory of the peoples of the CSTO countries, as well as to jointly counteracting the imposed destructive information influence that undermines the foundations of sovereignty, security and national identity.
"President of Russia Vladimir Putin promotes Eurasian integration and mutually beneficial alliances. ANO Eurasia is working towards creating a unified cultural, educational and mental space, where our humanitarian projects unite the residents of our countries and serve as platforms for dialogue," said Alena Arshinova, addressing her colleagues in the CSTO PA.
The meeting participants also reviewed the draft model law "On the Status of International Officials" and the Assembly's action plan for 2026.
