On August 21, Andrei Serdyukov, Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, held a briefing. He spoke about the upcoming military exercises.
"A total of more than 5,000 people of the personnel and about 1,000 units of weapons, military and special equipment will be involved in the joint exercises in 2025," Andrei Serdyukov shared.
According to the Chief of Joint Staff, using unmanned aerial vehicles and creating effective systems for countering enemy UAVs will play an important role in the exercises.
The main event will be the large-scale joint exercise Vzaimodeistvie-2025, which will take place in early September at the Losvido and Lepelsky training grounds in Belarus.
In the second half of September, the Edelweiss Centre in Kyrgyzstan will host the Rubezh-2025 command-and-staff exercise with the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian region.
In October, the Fakhrabad training ground in Tajikistan will host Nerushimoye bratstvo-2025 joint exercise with the CSTO peacekeeping forces.
