Bakhtovar Safarzoda, currently Plenipotentiary Representative of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation, has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Belarus.
The decree to this effect was signed by the Head of the Republic of Tajikistan on May 31, 2023 in Dushanbe.
Bakhtovar Safarzoda is a Doctor of Law. From 2009 to 2015, he was Head of the Department of Human Rights and Comparative Law at the Faculty of Law of the Tajik National University. From 2014 to 2015, he was deputy Rector of the TNU. In 2015, he became a deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.
