Bakhtovar Safarzoda is Tajikistan’s New Ambassador to Belarus
Bakhtovar Safarzoda, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Belarus, met with Sergei Aleinik, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Belarus, in Minsk on June 14 to present a copy of his Letters of Credence.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the long-term development prospects of Belarusian-Tajik relations.
Sergei Aleinik wished the newly-appointed Ambassador success in his work aimed at furthering the friendly relations between Belarus and Tajikistan.
As you may recall, Bakhtovar Safarzoda was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Belarus on May 31, 2023.
Letters of Credence are documents given to ambassadors for accreditation in a foreign state. They are usually handed to the head of the host state and their copies to a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
