Faizullo Barotzoda: Everything is properly organized
“The group of international observers from the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly takes part in monitoring the republican referendum on introducing amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” said Faizullo Barotzoda, coordinator of the CSTO PA observer group and Chairman of the Parliamentary Ethics Commission of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan. “All members of the Parliamentary Assembly group participate in the event.”
“The voting started on time: members of the group were present at the opening of polling stations,” Faizullo Barotzoda stressed.
“We were at the opening of the polling station in the Nur-Sultan Opera House. Everything was properly organized, the people exhibit a patriotic spirit; early in the morning we saw that most of the voters were elderly, the younger generation of Kazakhs started coming by lunchtime,” said the coordinator of international observers from the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
Faizullo Barotzoda recalled that international observers from the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly monitor voting in Nur-Sultan and Almaty.
