CSTO Secretary General calls for refraining from the use of force in Nagorno-Karabakh
Stanislav Zas, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), has issued a statement in connection with the escalation of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. The text of the statement is posted on the Organization’s official website.
“The CSTO Secretariat is concerned by the information about the armed clashes that have taken place in Nagorno-Karabakh and resulted in human casualties. I express my deep condolences to the families and friends of the deceased servicemen,” the statement reads.
“We call on the parties to the conflict to refrain from the use of force and to use only diplomatic methods to address existing differences,” the CSTO Secretary General stressed.
