Heads of the CSTO Parliaments Laid Flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Kremlin Wall

Today, on December 8, a meeting of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly will be held in Moscow.

On the eve of the meeting, the heads of parliaments of the CSTO Member States laid flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Kremlin Wall.

The participants of the ceremony underlined the importance of preserving historical memory and emphasized that respect for the feat of fallen soldiers remains a shared value for all the CSTO countries.

As you may recall, earlier members of the parliamentary delegations of the CSTO countries visited the historical and patriotic exhibition "The Great Victory. Russia – My History", which concludes the year of celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.

Parliamentarians stressed the importance of exhibitions of this kind for the patriotic education of young people and for countering the falsification of history. Special attention was paid to the shared historical heritage of the CSTO countries, with their peoples fighting side by side on the front lines and working hard on the home front.
