Heads of CSTO Member States Congratulated Women on the International Women’s Day

Today, the heads of the CSTO Member States wish women a happy International Women's Day.

Aleksandr Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, thanked women for bringing harmony and comfort and inspiring men for achievements, and reminded everyone that 2026 has been declared the Year of Belarusian Woman.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted that women bear many responsibilities, not always the "feminine" ones. But despite any hardships, they always remain the embodiment of wisdom, charm, fortitude, determination, responsibility and security.

"A woman is a source of inspiration, a muse, a symbol of beauty and a sea of discoveries. Everything beautiful in the world is tied to the image of a woman," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.

Sadyr Japarov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, pointed out that the Kyrgyz people have always treated women with utmost respect. He wished the beautiful women of Kyrgyzstan happiness, prosperity, peace and good fortune.

"May smiles always shine on your faces. May your children be happy and may our nation grow. Celebrate our moral values and always remain the pillar and jewel of society," Sadyr Japarov concluded.

Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, in his congratulatory speech emphasized that Russian women "always help those in need and care for their families and loved ones."

"You are truly capable of anything. You know how to build and create, combining strength and tenderness. Your aspiration to build a better future for our children motivates us all to move forward," the Russian leader said.

Emomali Rahmon, President of Tajikistan, noted that the timing of this holiday coinciding with the beginning of spring symbolizes the purity, beauty, and fertility of a mother. He pointed out that the government of Tajikistan continues to implement programs and strategies aimed at elevating the status of women and protecting their rights.

Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, also congratulated women on International Women's Day. 

"Dear women! Happy International Women's Day! I wish you good health, prosperity and happiness. All the best to you! For us, women are mothers, grandmothers, wives and daughters. You are continuing the human race. You are made to surround us with warmth and care. May the sun shine brighter when you go outside.  And, of course, may love warm your hearts. Happy holiday! May everything work out for you!" the congratulatory message posted on Vyacheslav Volodin's MAX channel reads.
