Cooperation Agreement Signed Between the CSTO PA and Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno
On March 4, the 28th International scientific and practical conference "The Paradigm of Law in the Context of Contemporary Development of Legal Science and Practice" opened in Grodno.
During the event, representatives of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Secretariat and Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno exchanged signed cooperation agreements on expert and analytical activities within the framework of the CSTO PA Legal Centre for Information and Analysis and the CSTO PA Council’s Expert Advisory Board, and from 2025 – on model lawmaking.
Sergei Pospelov, Executive Secretary of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, in his speech shared the Assembly's legislative experience, its achievements in international parliamentary cooperation and plans for the medium term until 2030.
"We have outlined particular measures to improve the legal framework for crisis response and the functioning of the military component of the Organization and its bodies, taking into account the experience of the special military operation and modern armed conflicts, including the resolution of a number of pressing issues in the areas of political, social, military and economic security, ensuring the information and psychological stability and cognitive security of the population in the context of development of information, communication and AI technologies and digital transformation, as well as in many other highly sensitive areas of life," Sergei Pospelov pointed out.
As you may recall, the Secretariat of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly makes continuous efforts to establish cooperation with scientific and specialized universities to expand analytical activities within the framework of the priorities announced by Russia, the country presiding over the CSTO in 2026.
