Sergeyenko: CSTO Parliamentarians Can Contribute to the Common Eurasian Security

On May 19, a meeting of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO PA) is taking place in Bishkek.

Igor Sergeyenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, praised the parliamentarians' contribution to the common Eurasian security.

Igor Sergeyenko has also put an emphasis on the patriotic events held in the CSTO countries as part of the celebrations in honor of the 80th Anniversary of the Great Victory.

"Today we laid flowers at the Eternal Flame in Bishkek and once again experienced the feeling of boundless respect for the true sons of the Motherland, who showed heroism, courage and fortitude, who made incredible efforts to turn the tide of history," Igor Sergeyenko pointed out. 

Concluding his speech, the Belarusian speaker thanked the CSTO parliamentarians for monitoring the presidential election in Belarus, as well as praised the high level of the patriotic forum in Volgograd in honor of the 80th Anniversary of the Great Victory, and proposed to hold this forum on an annual basis.
