Yerlan Koshanov: CSTO PA Adopts Important Model Acts to Ensure Security of our States
Speaking at the meeting of the CSTO PA in the Column Hall in the House of Unions in Moscow, Yerlan Koshanov, Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted the successful implementation of the priorities of the chairmanship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Collective Security Treaty Organization in 2024.
He drew particular attention to the importance of the model acts adopted by the Assembly and to the upcoming celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, which all CSTO Member States are actively preparing for.
As you may recall, today's meeting will consider the draft Address of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Parliamentary Assembly to the peoples of the Organization's Member States and parliamentarians of the world in connection with the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 and anti-Hitler coalition in the Second World War.
