Lavrov and Tleuberdi discussed interaction within the CSTO, CIS, EAEU and SCO

On Thursday, in a telephone conversation, Sergei Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and Mukhtar Tleuberdi, deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, discussed interaction in international organizations, including the EAEU, CSTO, CIS and SCO.

“The parties paid particular attention to the issue of interaction at international platforms, including the EAEU, CSTO, CIS and SCO. They also acknowledged that their approaches to most of the issues on the regional and global agendas are similar or identical,” the report said.
In addition, the ministers discussed bilateral cooperation in pursuance of agreements reached during the recent meetings at the supreme and high levels, as well as the schedule of upcoming bilateral contacts.
The Russian Foreign Ministry informs, “As usual, the conversation was frank and friendly, characteristic of the high level of relations between the two countries.”
