The People’s Republic of China considers the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) as a leading military security mechanism in the CIS and is ready to promote cooperation with it, said Li Zhanshu, Chairman of the Standing Committee of China’s National People’s Congress in an online meeting with Valentina Matvienko, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
