Leaders of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan Held Talks in Dushanbe
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, arrived in Dushanbe on August 22 at the invitation of Emomali Rahmon, President of Tajikistan.
The leaders of the two CSTO Member States discussed cooperation in various spheres.
“Relations between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan are constantly reaching new heights in almost all areas. We are reliable allies. We appreciate Tajikistan's attitude towards Kazakhstan. But we cannot stop halfway, we must move forward. Therefore, the aim of this visit is to give the strongest momentum to the development of our cooperation,” said the President of Kazakhstan.
The Tajik leader emphasized the importance of the meetings taking place these days. He noted that the relations between the two states are dynamically developing in numerous areas, including security.
“I am ready to discuss with you the state and prospects of cooperation between our states, as well as international and regional issues,” Emomali Rahmon emphasized.
