Maulen Ashimbayev, Chairman of the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan, speaking at the BRICS forum in St. Petersburg reminded the participants that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, has repeatedly emphasized the need to overcome stereotypes of "bloc worldview" and strengthen the foundations of openness and constructive cooperation.
Maulen Ashimbayev said that the Kazakh authorities actively support cooperation with BRICS and other international organizations that offer measured approaches to creating a secure and balanced world.
"Today, the world is facing serious challenges and threats. Geopolitical tensions are aggravated by the economic and climate crises. The global security architecture is failing, giving way to a chaotic and unpredictable system of international relations. Under these conditions, our common task is to reduce global confrontation and find efficient solutions to ensure security and stability in the modern world," stated Maulen Ashimbayev.
