In his speech at the CSTO international military and economic conference Military and Economic Cooperation of the CSTO Member States: Development Trends, Problems and Prospects, which opened today in Moscow, CSTO PA Acting Executive Secretary Sergei POSPELOV reflected on the importance of creating a common CSTO legal space.
“It is important for the parliamentarians of our countries to understand this way’s problems in order to create conditions for their solution through model laws and recommendations at the national legislative level,” noted Sergei POSPELOV.
The conference is headed by Yuri BORISOV, deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the CSTO Interstate Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation.
Conference participants discuss the most pressing issues of the development of military and economic cooperation in the CSTO format, share experience in forming mutually beneficial cooperation ties between enterprises and organizations of the military-industrial complex, consider the main directions for further improvement of scientific, technical and industrial cooperation of defence enterprises of the Organization’s Member States and the legislative support of this cooperation.
