Competitors will show their prowess in 6 sports disciplines: mini football, billiards, table tennis, big tennis, badminton, chess.
According to Aleksandr ZHUKOV, first deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, international parliamentary games provide an opportunity for parliamentarians from all countries to make contact, establish good relations and become friends. “These games promote a healthy lifestyle, and it is very good when parliamentarians lead by their own example,” he said.
All in all, teams of parliamentarians from 13 countries will take part in the competition.
Besides sports events, the programme also includes cultural events, meetings and discussions.
