The Legal Aspects of Collective Security within the CSTO Will be Discussed at the 2026 SPIEF

On June 24, a thematic panel discussion "The Security Umbrella of Eurasian Integration" will be held in St. Petersburg on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum 2026.

The event is timed to coincide with the Russian Federation's chairmanship in the CSTO in 2026.

The discussion will become the main platform for discussing Russian priorities in the organization and current issues of legal security. Key topics on the agenda: Protection of electoral sovereignty and development of international information security Legal mechanisms for combating cybercrime Issues of cognitive security in the context of hybrid warfare Countering terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, and illegal migration Cooperation in the fields of military medicine, civil defense, and protection against bio threats The event will be attended by representatives of government agencies, international organizations, and experts from the CSTO member states.
