CSTO PA Observer Valentina Pukh Praised the Organization of the State Duma Elections in Brest
Voting continues in Brest in the elections for State Duma of the Russian Federation. Valentina Pukh, an observer from the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, is monitoring the electoral process at the polling station located at the Consulate General of the Russian Federation.
The representative of the international mission gave positive feedback on the level of preparation for the elections and mentioned high voter turnout.
"The elections are well-organized and follow international standards. Voter turnout is high, and all the necessary conditions have been created for voters to exercise their right," Valentina Pukh reported.
She also drew attention to the technological and informational support at the polling station. According to the observer, the polling station is fully equipped with the necessary materials, and the voting process is completely transparent.
"The stages of voting are transparent and accessible for observers. No violations have been detected in the course of monitoring," summarized the representative of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and deputy Chair of the Permanent Commission on State Building, Local Self-Government, and Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
